Heart made of ice
     Touya seemed to be determined to get somewhere, anywhere would be good for him. Risho was trailing behind, Jin still seemed off in his own little world. The small snow storm now turned into a blizzard. Snow spun around like thousands of drunk insects [yeah, I didn't know how to put that]. The wind was picking up speed. Risho was struggling behind. The earth master came to a sudden stop. "Touya, I don't think we should go any further!" Touya stoped and turned around, or was forced to turn around. "Why?" Touya asked. "If we go any further we might get in trouble." Risho started."and I don't think it's smart to move around with Jin in this condition." Touya was going to protest but stpoed and ran to Risho's side. "What do we do?" Touya asked. "take shelter." Risho replied. "Where?" "...There, in that cave." Risho pointed to an opening of a cave, which surprizingly was not coverd in ice. They ran and hid in the small place. "ok, now what?" Touya asked flatly. "I don't know!" Risho snapped. "Well gezze, you don't have to yell at me." "*sigh* 'guess we just wait here." "this sucks." Touya started. " We're never going to get out of this alive, are we?" "Aww, don't say that, we are definitly gonna live." "How would you know?" "uh...I don't" Risho smiled reasuringly(sp?).
     An hour later the storm begain to die down. Touya fell asleep, and Risho was keeping watch. Risho notice something, Jin was paler than usual, sorta like a ghostly white. Risho nuged Touya in the side." Hey, wake up moron." Touya jumped up. He looked around, then tiredly rubbed his eyes. "What is it now?" Touya asked meanly."just wanted to make sure you were alright." "yeah right." Touya said under his breath.
     After some time Jin finally spoke. "Touya,Risho?" "Hey Jin how you feeling?" Risho asked. Jin keeped quiet. Then spoke again. " Touya, I need to tell you something." "what?" "I'm sure I won't live much longer, so I want you to know that...no matter what *you* at least must live.And...you're my best friend, Touya." "...But, Jin-" "no,it's ok, I don't need to hear your preaches. Just promise me you'll survive, for me?'' " yes, I promise. But I don't want you to die, I don't want to lose another one of my friends...Because, you're my best friend too." Touya started tearing up.Something he doesn't do often. "you were always my best friend." Touya said choaking back tears. ''And the truth is...I can't live without you with be, I can't stand being with out you!" "But the only thing I care about is you, promise me you'll survive, please?" "All right, I promise." Jin nodded, slowly closed his eyes and stopped breathing(sp?) [I get confused >_<] "...He's dead." Risho said, then looked at Touya. "...boy, Touya, you sure know how to make things dramatic." Touya quickly looked at Risho embarased. "Whatever" Risho started, he could see the looked of embarasment on Touya's face." I guess we can move on now." Risho crawled out of the little cave hole to the cave. Touya heitatly followed, wuth out looking back. "So, I guess it's just us now, the two of us." Touya said depresed. Risho replied. "well three of five isn't so bad."
     A few more hours of exausted walking through the heavy cold snow, night started to rise. The air began to bare down on the travalers as they lingerd through trail after trail.
     Touya noticed a strange lighting in the distance, but Risho seemed unawear of this. "Risho look!" Touya pointed out the light. "uh, is that?" Risho asked "I think so." Touya said back...To be continued.
